Visiting Dublin

Visiting Dublin

My second visit in Ireland took place in Dublin.
Dublin is a city that I wanted to visit for a long time: any French coming to Ireland has to see the Irish capital. Nice and lively, you can’t get bored there!
And from a student point of view, I was more particularly interested in visiting the famous Trinity College…

1) How easy to find?

The simplest way to go to Dublin when you’re not from Ireland is to take the train, no chance to get lost!

Official Supplier to Munster Rugby

This week we started to supply Wild Orchard smoothies to the Munster Rugby Squad. These guys will be getting through 300 smoothies every week. We are very happy about this because they are such a good rugby team and also nice people to deal with. You never know, we might get a few tickets every now and again.

Visiting Killarney

Visiting Killarney

Wild Orchard smoothies and I have decided to visit Ireland! Our trek started by Killarney, with its National Park, and Muckross House. Killarney is a lovely and touristic town situated in the county of Kerry, southwestern Ireland.

1) How easy to find ?

Since I’m not an Irish native, my main concern was how I would be able to locate the various places I wish to visit… Equipped with a map, I finally left towards Killarney... To my great surprise, I found quite easy to get my way around, as it was well sign-posted.

Yummy Breakfast Smoothie

Busy, busy, busy. We’re all running around like headless chickens lately, with no time for breakfast. Here’s a quick breakfast smoothie recipe for all those busy bees to kick start the day. This will keep you filled up till lunch...

What you need:

A cup of fresh juicy Irish strawberries
A teaspoon of fresh honey
3 Soup Spoons of Irish Oats
150mls low fat milk straight from the cow

Method:

Mix all of the above in a blender (don’t forget to put on the lid).

It’s simple, really.

Enjoy!

See yeah soon,

Dermot.

Importance of Buying Irish

Well, as we are all aware, Tuesday Brian Lenihan, Minister for Finance, delivered his Emergency Budget 2009 to the Irish nation, signifying the depth of the current turmoil the Irish economy is facing. Mr. Lenihan advised the nation that “we are all in this together. At the end of the day, fairness means you cannot shuffle off responsibility to somebody else.” Mr. Lenihan is right, as a nation, we need to work collectively to bring us out of these tough times.

Going wild for juice

Going wild for juice
Sunday, October 12, 2008 - By Cheryl Rickard (Sunday Business Post)

Diarmuid Crowley was working for Pepsi in Cork when he saw the way the market was going for soft drinks.

‘‘Health and wellbeing were the trend and I thought there was an opening in the Irish market for healthy fresh juice drinks,” said Crowley. It was an observation that changed his career path, leading him to set up his own drinks firm, Wild Orchard, in 2000.
