FAQ

1. What's so different about Wild Orchard?

We produce 100% pure fruit smoothies, no artificial colourings or preservatives. The key difference is that we are Irish and proud of it. We are produced domestically so can offer our Irish customers smoothies that bit cheaper in most cases. We promote home grown suppliers and aim to give back to the local community as much as possible.

2. Where do you get your fruit?

In Ireland when we can, obviously the more exotic fruits come from all over the world.

3. Who came up with the nudey people?

We’d love to take the credit but it was from a design agency. We did think up the name though.

4. Are your smoothies full of sugar?

No, it’s the fruit, the whole fruit and nothing but the fruit. The only sugar in them is what is found naturally in the fruit.

5. Where can we get them?

Mostly in convenience shops, cafes, sandwich bars and coffee shops. We supply some canteens, schools, sports centres. We are always on the look out for more outlets.

6. Is it difficult to compete with multinational brands?

Yes, they have very big budgets and resources but we have big ambitions so we are ready for the challenge.

7. Where do you go from here?

We are continuing to develop new products, packaging, and we plan to get our smoothies into more and more outlets.

8. Are smoothies a little expensive in these recessionary times?

They are not cheap but the Wild Orchard 330ml smoothie is the best value branded smoothie on the Irish market. We work hard in getting the price as low as possible but 100% pure fruit smoothies are expensive to produce. However, Rumour has it, Wild Orchard is Eddie Hobb's favourite smoothie.
