Well, as we are all aware, Tuesday Brian Lenihan, Minister for Finance, delivered his Emergency Budget 2009 to the Irish nation, signifying the depth of the current turmoil the Irish economy is facing. Mr. Lenihan advised the nation that “we are all in this together. At the end of the day, fairness means you cannot shuffle off responsibility to somebody else.” Mr. Lenihan is right, as a nation, we need to work collectively to bring us out of these tough times. One way we can go about this is by safeguarding the future of Irish business through continuously supporting Irish firms as much as possible.

Through supporting Irish business, we will be able to come out of this short lived period as competitive and as strong an economy as ever before.
