This should really be a blog about our smoothies and juices or nutritional information or the benefits of fresh food or the great yoghurts, ready meals and gluten free baked produce we distribute but I can't let the week go without writing my views on the great national debate topic of the week.
My views are:
1. The whinging and moaning must stop. It is becoming embarassing and is not winning us any friends.
2. Yes we were robbed and it's grossly unfair on our players who played with great heart and skill on the night albeit maybe without quite enough precision.
3. Is Henry a cheat? Yes and No. Yes he deliberately handled the ball in an instinctive reaction. No becuase most players in his position would have done the same. Unfortunately for him, he missed the opportunity to become an absolute legend by immediately admitting to the ref that he had handled the ball and that the goal shouldn't stand. This type of honesty is rare in football but there are precedents, Paulo di Canio, Robbie Fowler take a bow.
4. The ref should have done better but who, in honesty, spotted the handball without the aid of a replay. Even Jim Beglin, who spots most things, first thought it was an OG by McShane.
5. This France team will flop at the world cup because they have no cohesion and team ethos. They were there for the taking but we couldn't quite pull it off.
