Lainey’s Handmade Foods

After many years of baking and catering for friends and family, Léonie Ferguson set up her own food business Lainey’s Handmade Foods. Based in Kilquade, Co. Wicklow, she has developed a range of confectionary products based on the traditional family favourites. She recently received a Gold award at the Blas na hEireann Irish Food Awards in Dingle for her Dark Chocolate Biscuit Cake which is rich, dark and intense with an almost fudgy consistency. This is available in a convenient 65g bar and also a box of bite sized pieces, a box of slices and a 450g iced Chocolate Biscuit Christmas Cake. Earlier this year Léonie launched her Milk Chocolate Biscuit Cake bar which is a deliciously smooth milk chocolate biscuit cake. She has just launched her new healthier option bar, a Carrot Cake Flapjack which is a unique combination of a classically crunchy flapjack with all the flavours of a carrot cake. Made with fresh, natural ingredients and attractively packaged, Lainey’s handmade bars are offering something fresh to customers looking for a quality grab and go bar.
